Section 01

Introduction

Welcome to Mega228. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms", "Agreement") constitute a legally binding contract between you ("Player", "User", "you", "your") and Mega228 ("we", "us", "our", "the Platform"), governing your access to and use of the Mega228 website located at https://mega228.cam, including all associated services, games, features, promotions, and content offered therein.

Mega228 is an internationally licensed online gaming platform offering live casino games, sports betting, video slots, and related entertainment products. The platform is designed primarily for use by players located in Malaysia and operates under international online gaming licensing requirements.

By accessing or using the Mega228 platform, creating an account, or placing any wager, you unconditionally accept and agree to be bound by these Terms in their entirety. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must immediately cease using the platform and close any account you have registered.

For the purposes of these Terms, the following definitions shall apply throughout all clauses unless the context expressly requires otherwise:

Account Eligibility

Registration and use of the Mega228 platform is subject to the following eligibility requirements, each of which must be satisfied at all times during which a Player accesses the platform:

1. Age Requirement. You must be at least 21 years of age at the time of registration and at all subsequent times you use the platform. This requirement reflects the internationally recognised minimum age standard for casino-style gambling activities. Mega228 reserves the right to request age verification documentation at any time.
2. Legal Capacity. You must have the full legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement under the laws of your country or jurisdiction of residence. Individuals who lack legal capacity — including those under guardianship or those for whom gambling participation has been restricted by a court order — are prohibited from registering.
3. Personal Account. You may register only one (1) personal account on Mega228. All accounts must be registered in your own legal name and for your own personal, non-commercial entertainment use. Corporate accounts and accounts operated on behalf of third parties are not permitted.
4. Non-Restricted Territory. You must not be physically located in, or a legal resident of, any Restricted Territory at the time of registration or use of the platform. Determination of Restricted Territories is at Mega228's sole discretion.
5. Self-Exclusion Status. You must not be subject to any active self-exclusion agreement with Mega228 or any other gambling operator. Attempting to register while self-excluded constitutes a breach of these Terms.

Section 04

Account Registration & Security

When you register an account with Mega228, you are required to provide accurate, complete, and current information including your full legal name, date of birth, residential address, email address, and preferred payment method details. Providing false or misleading registration information is a material breach of these Terms.

4.1 Account Security Obligations

You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account login credentials, including your username and password. You agree to:

• Select a strong, unique password and not share it with any third party;
• Enable two-factor authentication (2FA) where offered by the platform;
• Log out of your account after each session, particularly on shared devices;
• Notify Mega228 support immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account;
• Accept responsibility for all activity conducted under your account credentials.

Mega228 will never request your password via live chat, email, or any other communication channel. Any communication purporting to be from Mega228 that requests your password should be treated as fraudulent and reported immediately.

4.2 Account Name Accuracy

The name registered on your Mega228 account must exactly match the name on the payment method(s) you use for deposits and withdrawals. Accounts where the registered name does not match the payment source may be subject to additional KYC verification, withdrawal holds, or account suspension pending investigation.

Deposits & Withdrawals

5.1 Accepted Payment Methods

Mega228 accepts deposits and processes withdrawal requests via the following Malaysian payment methods: DuitNow instant transfer, FPX (Financial Process Exchange), Touch 'n Go eWallet, Boost, GrabPay, Maybank2u, CIMB Clicks, Public Bank Online, and Hong Leong Connect. All account balances are denominated and processed in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR / RM).

5.2 Minimum and Maximum Limits

Minimum deposit and withdrawal amounts, and any applicable maximum transaction limits, are displayed within the Cashier section of your account and may vary by payment method. As a general reference, minimum deposit is RM30 for most payment methods. Limits are subject to change and are published in the Cashier at the time of transaction.

5.3 Withdrawal Processing

Withdrawal requests are subject to KYC verification where applicable. Mega228 targets processing of verified withdrawal requests via e-wallets and DuitNow within minutes of approval. Bank transfer withdrawals via FPX may take up to 15 minutes. Mega228 reserves the right to conduct additional security checks on any withdrawal request, which may extend processing time.

5.4 Source of Funds

By making a deposit, you confirm that the funds deposited are your own lawful personal funds and are not derived from criminal activity. Mega228 reserves the right to request evidence of source of funds for any deposit as part of its anti-money laundering compliance obligations.

Section 06

Bonuses & Promotions

Mega228 offers welcome bonuses, reload bonuses, cashback promotions, VIP rewards, and other promotional credits to eligible registered players. All bonuses and promotions are subject to the following general conditions and any specific terms published with each individual offer.

6.1 Wagering Requirements

All bonus credits are subject to wagering requirements ("rollover") before they or any winnings derived from them become eligible for withdrawal. The applicable wagering multiplier is stated clearly in the terms of each promotion. For example, a 35x wagering requirement on a RM100 bonus requires a total of RM3,500 in qualifying bets to be placed before withdrawal eligibility is unlocked.

6.2 Maximum Bet During Bonus Play

While an active bonus balance is present in your account, the maximum permitted bet per round or per transaction is capped as stated in the relevant promotion terms — typically between MYR 250 and MYR 500 per round. Bets placed in excess of this cap during active bonus play may result in the immediate forfeiture of the bonus balance and any associated winnings, at Mega228's sole discretion.

6.3 Game Contribution Rates

Not all games contribute equally toward meeting wagering requirements. Slot games typically contribute at 100% of the bet value. Table games, live casino games, and sports bets may contribute at reduced rates (commonly 10–20%) or not at all. Specific contribution rates are stated in the promotion terms for each offer.

6.4 Bonus Expiry

All bonus credits carry an expiry period, typically 7, 14, or 30 days from the date of credit, as specified in the individual promotion terms. Bonus credits and any derived winnings that have not been fully wagered by the expiry date will be automatically forfeited without notice.

6.5 One Bonus Per Promotion

Each welcome bonus promotion is available to each eligible player once only. Attempting to claim the same welcome bonus more than once, including through the use of duplicate accounts, constitutes a violation of these Terms and will result in the forfeiture of any bonus credits and associated winnings, and may result in account suspension.

6.6 Maximum Cash-Out from Bonus Winnings

Certain promotions impose a maximum cash-out limit on winnings derived from bonus play. The applicable maximum cash-out, where relevant, is stated in the specific promotion terms. Winnings in excess of the stated maximum cash-out limit will be removed from the account at the time of withdrawal processing.

Section 07

Gameplay Rules & Fair Use

All games available on the Mega228 platform are governed by the specific rules of each individual game, which are accessible within the game interface itself. General gameplay conditions applicable across all games are as follows:

• Game outcomes in RNG-based (non-live) games are determined by certified random number generation processes that have been independently audited for fairness. Mega228 does not manipulate game outcomes.
• Live dealer game outcomes are determined in real time by the physical dealing or spinning actions of professional dealers streaming from licensed studio facilities. Results are final once declared by the dealer.
• In the event of a technical malfunction during a game round — including server disconnection, browser crash, or studio feed interruption — bets may be voided or settled based on the last confirmed game state. Mega228's decision in such cases is final.
• Players are responsible for ensuring they have a stable internet connection when participating in live games. Mega228 is not liable for losses incurred due to connection interruptions on the player's end.
• Minimum and maximum bet limits for individual games are displayed within the game interface and are subject to change without prior notice.

Section 08

Prohibited Conduct

The following conduct is strictly prohibited on the Mega228 platform. Engaging in any of the following may result in account suspension, permanent closure, forfeiture of all balances, and/or reporting to relevant authorities:

• Fraud and Cheating: Any attempt to defraud Mega228 or other players, including the use of software exploits, collusion, chip dumping, match fixing, or manipulation of game systems.
• Bonus Abuse: Systematic exploitation of bonus offers through the use of multiple accounts, coordinated wagering patterns designed to eliminate risk while completing wagering requirements, or any strategy that Mega228 determines constitutes bonus abuse.
• Money Laundering: Using the platform to deposit, transfer, or withdraw funds derived from unlawful activity. All suspicious transactions will be reported to relevant authorities as required by applicable law.
• Use of Automated Tools: Deploying bots, automated betting scripts, or any software that interacts with the platform without direct human input for the purpose of gaining an unfair advantage.
• Account Sharing: Sharing account access, login credentials, or financial access with any third party, including family members.
• Underage Access: Attempting to register or access the platform while under 21 years of age, or facilitating the access of underage individuals to the platform.
• Chargebacks: Filing a chargeback or payment dispute with a payment provider in bad faith after a transaction has been legitimately processed.

Section 09

Responsible Gambling

Mega228 is committed to promoting responsible gambling and maintaining a safe gaming environment for all players. We provide the following player protection tools, accessible via your account settings at any time:

• Deposit Limits: Set daily, weekly, or monthly deposit limits to control the maximum amount you can add to your account within a given period.
• Loss Limits: Set a cap on the net losses you are willing to accept within a defined time period.
• Session Time Limits & Reality Checks: Set reminders that notify you of the duration of your gaming sessions at regular intervals.
• Self-Exclusion: Request voluntary self-exclusion from the platform for a defined minimum period (30 days, 90 days, 6 months, 1 year, or permanent). During an active self-exclusion, your account will be suspended and you will not be able to log in or receive marketing communications.
• Take a Break: Temporarily suspend access to your account for a short cooling-off period without formal self-exclusion.

Players who wish to activate any of the above tools may do so through their account dashboard or by contacting our 24/7 support team. Requests for self-exclusion will be actioned within 24 hours of receipt.

Section 10

Intellectual Property

All content on the Mega228 platform — including but not limited to the website design, logos, graphics, text, software, game content, audio, video, and all other materials — is the proprietary intellectual property of Mega228 or its licensed content providers and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the platform for personal entertainment purposes only. This licence does not permit you to: copy, reproduce, distribute, publish, reverse-engineer, decompile, modify, create derivative works from, or commercially exploit any element of the platform or its content, without the prior written consent of Mega228.

Section 11

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Mega228 and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and licensors shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising from or related to your use of, or inability to use, the platform or its services, including but not limited to:

• Gambling losses of any nature;
• Loss of data, revenue, profits, or business opportunity;
• Technical failures, service interruptions, or system errors;
• Unauthorised third-party access to your account due to your failure to maintain account security;
• Decisions made by Mega228 in good faith pursuant to these Terms.

Nothing in these Terms shall exclude or restrict liability for death or personal injury caused by Mega228's negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

Section 12

Account Suspension & Closure

Mega228 reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or permanently close any player account at its sole discretion, with or without prior notice, where it reasonably suspects any of the following:

• Breach of any provision of these Terms;
• Provision of false or misleading registration information;
• Failure to complete KYC verification within a reasonable period;
• Suspected money laundering, fraud, or criminal activity;
• Conduct that Mega228 determines poses a risk to the integrity of the platform;
• Receipt of a chargeback or disputed transaction.

Where an account is closed due to a breach of these Terms, any balance associated with the account — including bonus credits and, at Mega228's discretion, real-money funds deposited during a period of fraudulent activity — may be forfeited. Where account closure occurs for non-breach reasons (e.g., player-initiated closure), verified real-money balances will be returned to the player's registered payment method.

Section 13

Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Mega228 holds its operating licence. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms that cannot be resolved through good-faith direct communication with Mega228's support team shall be referred to binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the relevant licensing jurisdiction.

For dispute resolution, players are encouraged to first contact Mega228's customer support team directly via live chat or email. Mega228 commits to investigating and responding to all good-faith complaints within 5 business days. If a satisfactory resolution cannot be reached, further escalation routes will be communicated to the player in writing.

Section 14

Amendments to These Terms

Mega228 reserves the right to amend, update, or replace these Terms at any time at its sole discretion. Material amendments will be communicated to registered players via email notification or a prominent notice on the platform prior to the effective date of the change, where reasonably practicable.

Your continued use of the Mega228 platform following the effective date of any amended Terms constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree with the amended Terms, you must immediately cease use of the platform and request account closure.

The date of the most recent revision to these Terms is noted at the top of this document. Players are encouraged to review the Terms periodically.
